When it comes to horror movies, I really like the sub-genre of "occult/supernatural horror". Movies like Weapons, Paranormal Activity (first one), The Witch, Bring Her Back, and others.

One of my all time favorites is Hereditary and is one I recommend if you are a fan of the genre.

I was recommended this movie by aNACHRONiST of the aBSiNTHE BBS. He is a big horror fan, and knowing that I am a big fan of Japan and was looking for more J-Horror, he suggested I watch Audition.
