I would fucking LOVE a keyboard like this with the same 8bitdo C64 or Model M edition switches

My idea would be the standard letters/numbers but, just like the C64 and ZX Spectrum, put the Semiotic symbols on the lower side of the keys or in small size upper right, and using the typography of the numpad & top stripe.

Finally got my dream phone 3 years after it announced, I only bought it because it got an Android 16 update, it's been an awesome experience so far, really comfortable to handle and I hate every second I spend on it (which is a good thing). Moving from a 6.67 inch display to this makes me think how far the industry has strayed from basic mobile devices necessities, it feels so natural to fully operate a device with a single hand.

“Hope” movie thoughts + blizzcon

Wandered in to see the South Korean movie “hope” this afternoon. (Spoilers ahead!)

I loved the first small chunk of the movie. A clumsy cop was chasing around some kind of unknown monster through a small countryside town. The destroyed alley set pieces, deaths by flying objects and gore were really cool… There was a lot of mystery and chaos- it really built up tension in a grounded way that felt unique and fun… but unfortunately after the introduction of the first...

How the fuck is the algorithm so bad, my guy ... just give me similar artists. How are "recommended stations" radios made up by mostly songs I already have played or even in my playlist???? Also, JUST MIX MY FUCK ASS SONGS, I don't need anything more complicated than a random number generator choosing the index of the song in my playlist, I don't need no "smart mixing".

This coming week, on The Third Place, I want to start a side project I've had cooking in my mind for a while now:

Build an open-source, privacy focused religion, hosted on GitHub (at least for now)

The main idea here is to establish privacy practices into a religious system to, hopefully, eventually provide religious protections for E2EE and privacy practices that may come under further threat. Essentially doing for privacy what organizations like TST try to do for bodily autonomy.

Ever since I've decided to let go of my own internal expectations, I've been drawing for 12 hours a day. I've been enjoying it very much, I still remember how to sketch even after over a year without touching a pen. My trusty Cintiq is fun to use, I do late night sessions with good music and a light drink. My mind is not healthy, but the weight of my own expectations is gone. I'm having fun.
