Movie Recommendation: Ti West's "X Trilogy"

This trio of movies from A24 are a blast!

They were released in the order of X, Pearl, and MaXXXine, but I would recommend if you are going to watch them, watch them in the order of Pearl, X, MaXXXine.

This order takes you through three different time periods progressing along the timeline from earliest (in time) to latest. You have Pearl taking place in the WWI/Spanish Flu era of 1918, you have X which is the late 70s, then you have full on 1980s for MaXXXine.

Mia Goth is so good in these and I had no idea she was a Brit as she pulls off these characters splendidly. She plays two of the characters at the same time (old Pearl and young Maxine Minx) in "X" and is just so good!

I really enjoyed ending on MaXXXine, the final one in the series, a lot in part to the time period, looking for old nostalgic bits like technology, fashion styles, home decor styles, and of course the sweet 80's jams they played.

Anyways, recommend all three!
