"No stars overhead, best not to look up." slapped together website: https://deysec.vercel.app/
I made a mistake choosing a remote job at a well known AI company as my native language transcripter. I am getting belittled every day for a pay of 21$/hr which is again getting its sweet time coming to me. I am mentally exhausted furthermore there is no feedback loop I am not working WITH anybody else I am just being steamrolled by the reviewers whose own judgements conflict every other day with other reviewers. This is so dumb, it was an honest mistake on my part. I thought I will be responsible for...
I have moved from Ubuntu to Omarchy and so far I am loving it. I love how responsive and fast it feels. The procedure for me was minimal because I kept my OS drive and other drives completely separate and so nothing could be lost even if I tried to. The system feels less chunkier than before. I know people usually hate on Omarchy but I am liking it so far, sure I removed most of the preinstalled apps because I did not need them at all. So yeah.
STORY TIME: The predictability of unpredictable wars:-
Before I started learning Data Science I was an undergrad of Political Science which I got into specifically because I loved geopolitics and later on I figured that it was the worse decision I had made because I was drudging through waist high river of absolutely nothing new and outdated ideas. They do not make sense in our currently constantly changing world. I got into college in 2021 and in 2022 Feb 24 Russia had attacked Ukraine.
But let us...
I have started exercising again and it is making me feel better, maintaining my diet too. I had lost my discipline. It has also cleared my mind a lot. I am now doing research, analysis, etc again. Writing articles and stuff too. Feels good to be genuinely back with full sound mind. Hope rest of you all have great days, weeks, months and the whole ass year. Stopping at the year because I am not sure all of won't be glassed to death by the end of 2026. Motivating indeed.
The dawn of nothing:
Everyday you wake up, open your phone or laptop or desktop computer and you might open X (formerly twitter) and you will see lists and lists of "new tech" stuff coming out, mostly related to AI (I mean 99%), tech such as the "Personal Intelligence" by Google which will obviously in true Google fashion will get access to all of your phone and automate tasks. There is a new "labs" called "Merge Labs" coming out which is being seed funded by OpenAI and I joke you not is, "a research lab...
I am working on training a model called FOE and do not ask my why I am using that acronym and what its full name which is "Foundational Operations Engine" stands for. Basically it is supposed to be like WOPR from WarGames (1986) movie but better and modern (obviously). I am still in the very early stages of this project so yeah it can and will take months. I am making FOE to integrate directly into my another project called Synscope which is a multi-domain OSINT engine however it also has other functions....
I have been reading "The Complete Robot" by Issac Asimov and there is a particular short story called "True Love". That specific story has been roaming around in my head for sometime now. The story is something like this and I will be paraphrasing a lot and never pull direct quotes.
In the story a man was able to create a separate system from the overarching main system called "MULTIVAC" found in most of Issac Asimov's stories. The system our "protagonist" for the story created was connected to the...
In Destiny 2 there is, well technically it "was" since Dead Orbit or it's leader Arach Jalal has been removed from the game but anyways. There is a quote from him in the game which is, "If you think this world ends well, you are mistaken." and it keeps coming around and around in my head. Not as a bad thought or something like that but as a reminder for where our current earth seems to be heading through geo-political instability. Although technology and science too seem to be progressing at a rapid pace...
