I made a mistake choosing a remote job at a well known AI company as my native language transcripter. I am getting belittled every day for a pay of 21$/hr which is again getting its sweet time coming to me. I am mentally exhausted furthermore there is no feedback loop I am not working WITH anybody else I am just being steamrolled by the reviewers whose own judgements conflict every other day with other reviewers. This is so dumb, it was an honest mistake on my part. I thought I will be responsible for directly contributing to making my native language better but now I see it is simply a punching bag. No matter however good I make the transcription the reviewers seem to pull rules out of their asses and implement them blindly with nothing being done against them. Sorry for my language, is this what people call HOSTILE WORKING ENVIRONMENT? maybe, maybe not. I wonder what the reviewers are getting paid, maybe less than me? more than me? we will probably never know. I also know for a fact I am not the only one with these issues as I have seen them pop up in slack channels again after again as questions and such however the issue never seems to be resolved because by the time the advisory comes down to the reviewer level they simply become distilled and useless ig? Reviewers really do not seem to care. L1,L2,L3 all are simply there to mess up your understanding of the project requirements. One time they will say somethings should be hyphenated the other time they will say it should not be hyphenated. This is dumb and helps no one. I do not know what to do, struggling with money, being in a line I did not want to be and just needed to jump in a job. I am studying data science and self studying AI security and red teaming and instead I got into this terrible mess.
