Feeling Lots of Joy

After taking allergy shots for several years sometimes 3x a week. Then tapering up and down to now just monthly until I start a new serum. Four and a half years the wife and I finally got to achieve something we have been wanting for a while. To adopt a shelter dog. I had to hole this process back because I am was so allergic to dogs.

But we have finally reached the stage where we adopted a local dog from the Animal Shelter. He came with the name "Rocky" which we both kinda like. He's a 5 year old and they told us the breed was a "Black Mouth Cur".

He's such a good dog and I really appreciate over the past weeks how much joy he has brought to our lives. Welcome to the family Rocky! Hopefully we will be the best dog parents ever.
