After taking allergy shots for several years sometimes 3x a week. Then tapering up and down to now just monthly until I start a new serum. Four and a half years the wife and I finally got to achieve something we have been wanting for a while. To adopt a shelter dog. I had to hole this process back because I am was so allergic to dogs.

I logged into reddit to see what was new in the local community page. I had forgotten about the /r/videos reddit. It used to be just random YouTube videos that were usually comical. But not the whole thing is just political slop. Went on there to have a smile not a feeling of annoyance. Oh well glad this space exists.

After being rather excited about Artemis II mission started to re-watch the HBO Miniseries From the Earth to the Moon. Nice to be excited about something again. Wonder how the future of manned space flight will go. Hopefully less Katy Perry type folks and actually something interesting.

Went to an 11pm showing of Hail Mary. Some woman brought her dog. Heard her say “I didn’t realize movies were loud.” Dog was freaking out. Then she got into a screaming match with some other woman who asked her to leave if her dog couldn’t handle the film volume.

Finally got Birdbox-Go running on the Raspberry Pi. Was sad to see the previous Birdbox software had been archived. Onwards and upwards had a little over 250,000 detections on the previous software. Currently 6 days in and about to break 5,000 detections.

Glad to hear that the birds are still out there singing away.
