Serious question about storing software projects...

When I found out Microsoft had bought GitHub, I pulled all my software projects off that site. I still use GitLab, but not as much as I used GitHub.

Does anybody here use GitHub? Do you recommend it one way or another?

I know there's also CodeBerg (I have an account there too), but what's a good secure place to host your projects without AI getting their grubby mitts on it?
