Had vacation day today

I have more vacation days to take before the end of the year. Where I work, it's use-it-or-lose-it. Except for the executives in California who get a buyout at the end of the year if they don't use their vacation days. Yeah - not quite "same rules for everybody"

Anyhoo, I spent most of the day working on software updates on my Cheap-Yellow-Display weather station. I've got persistent storage set up for things that would change per user or by location. That's all set.

Now I'm working on console commands (over the serial port) to be able to change things without having to change the code, rebuild, and re-upload to the board.

Truly my job is my hobby, except I prefer my own projects over what I have to do at work.
