One of the best things is to start getting busy. Now I say this as a resident unemployed almost-freeloader (I pay half the rent and that's it lol).

Honestly just going outside with my camera has been such a big deal, I've met so many people and gotten so much advice (like look out for gang turf and don't go there with a camera!). Making connections is very fun and finding out where all the relaxing spots with other alt people are is very nice.

Starting to become a stereotype with the whole "Unemployed photographer and musician" status I'm cultivating, after being unemployable for years and all my options being the very shady ones I really am just gonna try to make it through pictures and music, support your local artists today and help them out anyway you can!

I only can do what I do cause I live with someone who loves me for who I am and my art (not because I can make money faster than others) and the government unemployment allowance helps a little bit (not enough to live off).
