I really dislike how so much of my personal information is scattered around the internet if you know where to look. If you know one username, you can Google it, and it leads to lots of other accounts, all with information on my identity, interests, beliefs, hell, even where I live! It's so, so easy to find information, and that's just with a quick internet search. I worry about what someone could find if they were really dedicated. It's not like I have anything to hide, but I'm going to keep my online presence as decentralized as I can from now on.

I've been meaning to get serious about my privacy since I've been really careless up until now. Any suggestions on how to get started are greatly appreciated.
