Hopefully i win, realistically i have no shot.

I am making a racing game where players use hovercraft to ride gravitational waves, outrun other people, jump from boost panels, etc.

But i cannot get music for this game. I have reached out to multiple artists and none of them ended up being a viable option. I now have two options, and this is where it gets difficult:

Do i make the soundtrack entirely on my own, which would take time away from game development, or do i instead join Neoluminum to get access to more samples and secure the...

I really think this is an amazing song, i don't know why.

Someone protesting against the police was accused of terrorism and of possession of child pornography. He has commited no such crimes. Here is what happened:

He returns from vacation and enters the United States (as a citizen)

Border guards (as a "random check") demand access to his phone.

He gives a "duress PIN", a GrapheneOS feature that wipes the phone.

Almost done with my cyberdeck, but have one more issue to solve: I am terrible at turning an assortment of physical parts into digital information.

Do i :

Suffer through 3D modelling the same thing 20 times, wasting KGs of filament?

I have tried over 20 distros. Every single one is either unable to install, not secure, or has such an outdated package manager and repo list that it cannot install anything.

I am two distros away from throwing Windows XP on this thing and calling it a day.

Writing this from my reclining chair while listening to electronic music.

Just got parts for my Cyberdeck. Got the wrong keyboard, but the right one arrives in a few days.

I will soon be able to access nearly every electronic system in the world at the push of a button. And it is portable. This is surely not going to cause any issues for anyone!!

Please check before purchasing. I got a keyboard for my Cyberdeck today, and it... is bluetooth only.

Obviously not a good choice.

So now i am buying a new one.

There is a device on the market now called "Telly". And it is quite literally a Black Mirror episode. It is a free tv, that you cannot turn off, constantly tracks you, and will charge you money if unplugged for too long. It also will track other devices on your network, and the device acts as a moral authority, being able to ban you for "obscene or unethical content", and states that "you are responsible for what you see and do". You are held responsible for watching the wrong show. If the product is free,...
