Looking for a Linux distro recommendation

Please recommend a linux distro. i've been thinking about this for a long time. i tried mint on my main pc, and i also tried to revive an ancient 2008 netbook with antix.

i mostly just play games on my pc, and i'd like to try something new and pretty. Also, i'm thinking about getting into IT, and cyber security interests me most, but i just never get around to it. And with the rise of AI, it feels more and more pointless, so maybe i'll just stay with music and the bar))

Anyway, the question is: what's your favorite distro, and why?
