[ESC]I've a gift.
I've a gift of sounds.
I've a gift of fitting in.
I've a gift of standing out.
I've a gift of being forgotten.
I've a gift of standing ground
Even if I tried withdrawing.
I've a gift of never dying
I've a promise of never Lying.
So I've a gift that feels a curse.
A curse of fitting in
A curse of standing out
A curse of being remembered
I've a curse of being loved
A curse of never finding it.
A curse of Loneliness
A curse of Longing to belonging in the wilderness.
A curse of urbanism, A curse of technology
A curse of analog, a curse of ecology.
Forces of nature that can't be fought
So all that's left is lessons to be caught
I've a gift of self awareness, and no control.
I've a gift of immortality and no luck to roll
I've a curse of Loss and Lost Opportunity
I've a curse of gifts, one for an Eternity.
So with my time, the most I can do is Travel
Follow the wind and watch it all unravel
Appreciate Nature, or what's left under the gravel
Maybe someone may learn from me, and use my stories as a gift
A gift of experience so that he may ride the same saddle
And never suffer the same curse that I did.
