I think I forgot to send one yesterday and for that I apologize.
In spirit of being late, I provide you with a song my home country of Cyprus. (Coz cypriots tend to be late to shit.)

Syrtos, literally meaning to drag, or pull, is a type of dance that includes dragging your feet on the floor. Mavromatis is a name for a man with black eyes. So this is a song to show the dance of a black eyed man.... The original Black eyed peace if you will.

Nobody really knows who created this lil piece of music as it's been lost through time, but i've heard many different versions. Hammered strings, Flute, Violin, etc. I chose this version coz it's a fuckin bop.

This is a version covered by a Cypriot band named "Monsieur", that's mister btw, incase you don't know french, Doumani, which ig is an anglicised version of "Ντουμανι" which means thick ass smoke, led by an Cypriot man who moved to the UK and said "nah, I want to be more in touch with my roots" and so he became more in touch with his roots. Are his eyes black?? Maybe. I never met the guy in person, but he did make in on TV once.
