[ESC]Whimsical log-18/09/26
It feels like it's been taking me ages to sit down and to start writing the code, that needs to be written. It's not even too complicated. But that being said I've still done something...
I've implemented support for;
- swapchains
- renderpasses
- descriptor set layouts
A lot of my time has been spent finalising the YAML config boilerplate jargon, working, avoiding burn out, and reading up on cool C features. This time it was on how C handles shared_ptr's. All very handy dandy stuff and I would recommend anyone to go and read through the C++ docs if you have some time to kill.. https://en.cppreference.com/cpp/memory/shared_ptr
I've heard however that real programmers handle their own memory, but let's not gate keep.
I'm not sure as to how much project time I'll have tomorrow, or the coming days really. But keeping this log does in a sense motivate me. I appreciate the format as well. I can just write with little interference.
Anyways, now I'm going to play some MGS:1.
If you're reading this, and
- it's late: I hope that you've had a good day
- it's early: I hope that you'll have a good day
- it's midday: I hope that you've had a good first half, and that your second half is better.
