Flatbreat (Roti)

Just had hummus and bread for dinner. Was too good for how simple it was.

Water, salt. Slowly added flour until the dough wasn't so sticky anymore.

Kneaded for eight-ish minutes.

Spread into small circles and baked in a hot pan. Best made with ghee (clarified butter), but canola oil worked just fine also.

If you love your stomach and hate your arteries, spread some butter on the still-hot bread.

Feels like forbidded knowledge. It tastes the best, and with most meals it doesn't add extra kitchen-time, as it's simple enough that you can just make a few on the side while the main dish is simmering or whatever.
