tattoos!

Shout out @ngixma, who recently shared their tattoos and made me want to hop on the bandwagon!

My first and only is a big biblically accurate angel I got on my bicep. I wanted my first tattoo to be very intentional and meaningful, so I got something that harkens back to my being raised in the Southern US during the Satanic Panic. There's some beauty hidden within religion, but I find it to be scary in the way that angels are horrifying on the surface. There is a reason they always lead with, "Fear Not."

Anyway, now that my first one is about a year old, I'm really jonesing for another. And now that I'm got my "my first one is meaningful and special" done, I'm like... I dunno, maybe a bird next? Birds are cute.

Second shout-out: December the tattoo artist. I get so many compliments on her, and I am so grateful for that time. I aught to reach out, start planning my next for real.
