It's hard to believe that most of the year has passed. What are some things you are looking forward to this month? I hope you have a good September.

I live in a big city and I love driving around at night. I think I have two goals when I do this. The first, is to find interesting views of my city. Especially things that trigger The Night Feeling. The second, which might contradict the first, is to find people enjoying life. Loud bars, restaurants spilling out into the street. I don't join them, I just notice the groups as I drive by with my windows down. It makes the city feel alive. It makes me feel like I could be a part of something fun if I wanted...

For me it's the small tastes of freedom I had in-between being a kid and having my first serious responsibilities.

The 2am walk to get slurpees just because we could. Taking two hours to make the 1 mile walk back because the world was ours in the infinite night. The single light peering out of a bedroom signifying a fellow night owl. It felt like summer would last forever and we could do anything.

And I love it. I feel like I'm here for no reason. I'm writing this just because. I'm making just to make something. I hope things like this take off again. In this moment I feel like I did when I made my first Angelfire page.
