‘Big boys’ is the greatest tv show ever.

There, I said it.

I first finished this beautiful piece about a year ago, and re-watched the finale tonight, and even though I know how it’ll end, it has not lost any magic whatsoever.

It’s a show that I went into expecting a good laugh, and I got that but by the second-last episode I was crying. Ever single scene is dripping in emotion and intention, and no joke ever misses it’s mark.

It’s a beautiful show, perhaps mainly because it dosent really fit in a box, it’s a Brit comedy, it’s a coming of age show, it’s a drama, it’s everything in between, and yet something in its own right, exploring so so many things like suicide, love, bitchy family, sexuality, dweebiness, sex, and so so so much more.

I am honestly sad that it hasn’t got all that much international recognition, but I think that makes it cool.

If you haven’t, I implore you: go watch big boys.
