[ESC]For anyone curious, photoshop (among six other adobe products) have been rebuilt as open source programs under the label artcraft. They’re easy enough to find online right now for those curious.
A lot of people including me really dislike photoshop for their skeezy renewal and cancelation fees (which were never a thing for many years), so it might be a good cheap alternative for those that have always wanted to try it… and depending on how quickly adobe reacts it may not be available forever.
The flipside is: the tool used to create all of this is a source code AI Decompiler, which can be an absurdly dangerous/unethical thing right now, especially in regards to cybersecurity.
I’ll always support people learning and practicing painting and drawing whenever they can, but if people are worried about supporting such technology I would suggest Krita instead for now.
Small Personal update: my back pain has mostly recovered but it has also traveled to my groin lately. Last night I was dreading the possibility of kidney stones (lol) but today it seems a bit better. I really have no idea what I did to myself but I’m so antsy to get back painting and also getting back to the gym. The weather has been cool and rainy as well, so I’m sad I’ve been missing out on that.
