What is the actual reason for putting data centers in space? I can't see how the economy behind this can work out.

• Can't be construction costs - building radiation-hardened, micro-meteorite resistant server farms with support systems that are supposed to run for several years without maintenance and launching them into space simply can't be cheaper than using established technology on...

Any photography buffs here that could offer an insight into what I can't explain?

I stood on that street and knew I had to take that picture. I really like it, but I'm not sure why. It's not the subject, the framing only sorta works, the composition is wonky and cut off. Maybe it's about light and texture?

And I clearly feel there is a certain weight lifted from my mind. Don't get me wrong, there are still enough worries left and some additional ones were added over the two weeks.

But I didn't spend time dwelling on the news. And I feel it.
