The Human Experience

Lately I find myself trying to quantify the human experience. I'm trying to find the base instincts that make up a person and explain them.

So far:

• Yearning (wanting)
• The need for entertainment
• Agency (the freedom and ability to do something)
• Foresight
• Reflection
• Emotions (I've got that one covered though)
• Labor/accomplishment
• Fears
• Desire (not necessarily sexual. Like wanting but different)
• Higher reasoning

What are some things you can quantify? Are there things on this list that can be broken down even more?
