Trying to get linux mint Cinnamon on my laptop

Yes, yes, I know, linux mint makes me look like a linux noob, but im going to use it, for its simplicity of having minimal issues and troubleshooting, while it still being linux which gives me the extensibility.

I try booting from a USB, but stupid windows bitlocker recovery kept opening, no matter how hard I tried but I'm currently re-flashing the USB and trying something different.
