Found a Shard on Ultima Online and had a roleplay moment

So, the most delightful thing happened when I found the right shard, I started in In Mani Ylem, pretty small population, like 7 people on the starting city that I chose.

I started as a blacksmith, went into the mines to gather ore and already found a player there, talked a little, all in character, and after a while we traded gifts, little stuff we did using our professions.

Then something strange happened, a ghost appeared, came from nowhere, maybe I couldn't see it before it was standing by my side. In UO, all ghosts when typing say OOooOoOOOOo, unless you have high spirit talking level.

I was mostly joking around, and then I had a idea, I asked him to walk around for yes, and type anything for no.

After some conversation, mostly by me of course, I understood he wanted me to follow him. If you played UO before, you know what's going to happen, I had a feeling but I was committed to my roleplay.

I followed him for a good while, the roads became more and more dangerous, until he showed me a mountain, full of ore and even having a forge and an anvil, it was the perfect place to grind blacksmithing and mining.

But of course, in a minute or two, a very well dressed gentleman appeared, his name was normal, probably something to do with the shard I was in, but when he spoke, his words were red. THERE WAS A PLAYER KILLER AMONG US.

Still committed to my character, I told him about this ghost that was with us, how he was a very nice gentleman even tho I didn't understand a word. He approached the ghost and asked:

— Are you as fine of a gentleman to keep a secret? If so, turn around.

The ghost turned, and there I saw my blood spilling from my corpse, but I wasn't dead, and because of that I run, I run what seemed to be full minutes with them behind me, until I reached civilization, and they stopped fearing the guards.

Then, I needed to tell someone, and I found a fashionista. Will tell you guys the second part after I shower, but that was only the beginning of a very cool adventure.
