it's really odd to live through the end of the world. it's odder still that it's so incredibly slow. i can't help but wonder; when was the moment? i think about the moment i saw the first reported case of covid. i think back to trump's election. to vietnam. to hiroshima. to the crucifixion. to the primordial ooze. are you born dead? are the years in-between spent living or dying?
