got my new server and did some more research.

It is a Dell Poweredge R620 and it has currently 4 SSD’s not very big ~180gb each.

I currently got linux ubuntu server on it, but will be swapping over to ProxMox today and i’ll be redoing my network soon to move things around in my basement to fit the rack im gonna buy for this. i’m also gonna get a rack switch to mount and also a power strip as well. i don’t plan on buy a UPS because i’m not running anything worth upkeeping at the moment but who knows in the future :)

told my fiancé i’ve wanted to build a server rack since we started dating 6 years ago and i’m finally doing it and i’m excited to try out virtual desktops
