[ESC]I've been seeing a lot of places and events focus on having no phone, as in don't bring your phone with you.
I think there is a connection that all these events are happening in the city, in the areas with poor public transit. These areas are full of rich people, now I mean rich people compared to where we live, people paying at least $800-$900 a week.
This made me wonder if these richer people have more problems with phone usage? They are closer to the city (pretty much inside it) and they are no where near actually being "rich" as they'll still need to work and couldn't afford to attend the real rich events.
These people also famously live in one of the strongest community oriented areas, known for its artists (even tho they price them out now) and being so close to almost daily and nightly events but still have a problem with phone usage?
I will be honest here, I don't think phones are the real problem. What is the real problem?
I have no clue cause I don't really hang around people who have phone usage problems, all I know is that a lot of these events happen in places where there are a thousand events you could go to, you could easily not use you phone at, and now there are people who need specific events to "detox" from their phones, in one way you could see these as "connecting" with their community but really it's just connecting with other people who have the same problem and that's not always helpful.
