It is honestly nauseating reading about literally anything going on in the world these days from politics, corporations, economy, etc.

I'm only really thinking about it because with the 25 years since 9/11 coming up tomorrow, I've been getting flashed with what we had instead of where we are. Everyone is talking about the human cost (rightfully so) but I feel like no one is actually discussing the rest of the aftermath. Like how the world has now plunged into a surveillance state, or that our freedoms...

Would love to one day have a house or apartment or whatever, and dedicate a whole room design to making it feel as cyberpunk as possible. Something that makes you feel all cozy.

Chunky electronics and what not. Maybe a large monitor/tv on the wall that's been dressed up to look like a window into a cyberpunk cityscape.

I wonder if Discord decides to go through with this facial recognition ID system it'll lead to a renaissance of revitalized forums and chat-rooms away from centralized social platforms.
