Took my friends visiting from the UK and Australia to Bass Pro Shop! We then went to an American Diner afterwards, they're looking for the full "American experience" before they have to head home.

Dockers are really nifty, I just figured out how to set up my own RetroAssembly instance!

Hello from vacation! This is the first vacation I've had in the last 6 years where I haven't been bothered by my employer. Very glad I changed my job and work at the card shop!

Vacation is going to be over on Monday, then it's back to posting regularly!

Vacation is just a few days away!

I got friends from outside of the country coming over to hang out starting on Thursday.

We're gonna check out card shops, go to a convention, and more.

That being said, I need to bust out a few 12 hour shifts to get the money I need! Three more days of crazy shifts and I'm done.

I really want to play an MMORPG. Roleplaying is fun. But I get motion sick. FFXIV and WoW can make me a bit nausous.

Anyone have any suggestions? Games or otherwise?

It's my husband's birthday today! We went for a bike ride, and I took him shopping to his favorite grocery store.

Had some pals over and I cooked burgers for the gang!

This has been a fairly relaxing Monday. Might play a board game later. Can't believe it's already the evening time, what a fast day!

Anyone have any good board game suggestions? I've got an absurd amount of them!

Our Final Fantasy TCG Local Qualifier is tomorrow, less than 10 hours away. Winner gets an invite to Nationals!

I'm a bit nervous as this is an event that the owners are super passionate about. We've got to wow the crowd with this one.

The emcee for the event is solid. He's the black mage of the group for sure. Smart. Both book and aleck. A bit dry, but hey. The big ol' hat makes sure he stays so.

Relaxing rainy day

Well, Palworld TCG product is officially sold out at my store. Last of the booster packs were sold today, and we even had our first locals which caused us to sell out of our starter decks!

The first locals went about an hour past what we expected since it ran a little late and there were quite a few judge calls to get clarity on how the game worked. We also extended rounds to 40 minutes each since it was our first local and 100% of our players are new to the game.

Found some cool cards for the MtG rat commander deck while at work, nothing for the squirrel deck today!

It's quite shocking to see how hard the Palworld TCG is selling. Been out since Thursday and we're already through 95% of our booster packs! Boxes are going to hit $200 per box on eBay by the end of the week, no doubt. Crazy considering we sold boxes at$64.99 per box before we had to switch to packs only due to scalpers.

Glad the store I work at made sure to limit packs per person....

Working at a card shop the last few months has been very interesting. The transition from high strung workplace to a place where I get to be paid for my passion is devastating in a positive way. Just wish I had the guts to do it sooner.
