Wow! Algorithms are bad.

I’ve been happily away from socials including this platform (which I still support) for a bit.

But I had to come back to praise Cyberspace for being an “algorithm free” social media platform after reading the USA (the Whitehouse) is mad at Australia for proposing a law to make it “an option” for Australians opt-out of shifty social media algorithms.

They (the Whitehouse) wouldn’t do this if these algorithms were ineffective. They know the impact they have to poison people with their crap.
