Robots
- Detail 1: Elon Musk says "there will be more robots than people"
- Detail 2: China's ratio of "old vs young" is tilted too much towards "old"
- Detail 3: Robots represent mildly capable employees who don't demand any rights (pay, leave, health benefits, etc) making them appealing to every business on the planet
Population
- We must be headed to for a population explosion. (see detail #1)
- Robots occupy exactly "1 person" worth of physical space. So everything will get very squashy very soon.
- Robots are like phones which can physically do things for you. If each person has their own robot, an atomic family will have 8-9 people/robots. Could be time to get a bigger car...
Drivers
- China will drive this explosion.
- China needs "application suitable" robots working in aged care (detail #2)
- China also needs "application suitable" robots to bridge the shortfall of humans in that country, or their economy is exposed to collapse (detail #2 and #3)
- China is equiped to produce robots economically, at scale, right now,
- China's rollout will be faster given the lack of friction in their system of government
The "right now" argument
- Right now; robots can't close dishwashers properly (look at you X1), they cost too much (even the X1) and they pose too much of a threat in regard to privacy and physical harm
But... refer to the "Drivers" above
What's my point..?
My point is: robots can build robots...! Is that a problem we're not thinking about enough..?
