After years of study and billions of dollars, virology researchers at the University of British Columbia have successfully isolated the Woke Mind Virus.

Reports from the University's Communications Office confirm that the viral agent also known as Common Decen-C has always been present in many parts of the population since the beginning of civilization.

The lead Virologist on the project remarks, "We've actually found that it's easier to identify issues in subjects without the infection." And that "It wasn't until a small but overrepresented portion of the population with natural or acquired resistance to Common Decen-C exhibited startling symptoms that we learned there was any issue here at all."
