End of semester kicked my ass, but I passed all the classes I was taking. I spent a couple of days just slacking off, seeing my gf and my friends. Now I gotta come back to the grind and study for my finals (I have a little less than two weeks left for my first exam). After tasting fresh air for the first time in months, damn. It's hard to lock in.

Also, I know how awful everything surrounding the world cup is, how it distracts everyone from bigger issues happening and many other things, but seeing today's Argentina's win over England? It was quite nice to see the players later spread out a flag that said "the Malvinas islands are argentine".

The people around me were noticeably happier, and everyone was driving around and cheering and making noise. I know everything feels like it just gets worse and worse but a tiny spark of joy in difficult times is a lovely sight.
