I have a 2016 samnsung notebook (with Windows pre installed) that my dad bequeathed (?) me in 2020. She works perfectly fine, but recently has gotten slower. I can only open certain apps at the same time, otherwise it slows down tremendously.

Good news: I have the chance to switch the operating system to Linux!! (always been too afraid to mess things up, and now I've got someone to help me).

I'm really excited to use my computer for several more years :P

i bought tickets to see Gorillaz live !!!

i'm going with my GF, and it's something i bought with my own money. all of it. i didn't ask for favors nor owe anyone.

it's a shit ton of money for me since I don't have a formal job but it feels good.

question, has anyone gone to their "The mountain" tour shows? how was your experience?

anyone listened to the new Flea album?

if so, what are your thoughts on it?

I haven't finished it on its entirety, but my dad loves it (my dad is pretty cool so I figure it must also be cool).

i'm overly exited about a college class, and I wanted to let everyone know. why not?

there's this class, i don't know the proper english name but the literal translation is "numerical methods I". why am i so exited, you ask? we need to learn Python to solve problems.

i tried many times to learn how to code by myself by following youtube tutorials / online resources, but life happened in the middle and i had the motivation but not the time.

now i have a teacher to ask for help, and kind of mandatory hw...

the rain season started again. i hope the lakes and rivers fill up during the winter.

i missed the moody clouds, the cold droplets hitting my face and the smell of wet dirt.

i didn't miss having to dry every layer of outerwear as soon as i got home lol (wind makes it impossible to use an umbrella).

currently vibing to the twin peaks soundtrack.

Got back recently from a family vacation. We went to cities/towns with warm beaches, hot humid weather and tropical vegetation. I did miss the cold from my home along with the lack of bugs (ended the trip with too many ant/moquito bites), but got to try out coconut milk from an actual coconut, pão de queijo (It was way too good... now the chipá feels kinda mid) and açaí with banana slices and condensed milk. Very very yummy.

It was an amazing trip, and I'm really happy I had the opportunity to visit such...
