I miss 2012. The time when I was very young and I saw Transformers for the first time (it all started with Transformers Prime). A time when you could calmly watch cartoons (and any other cartoons) without arguing about canon, who was right and who was wrong, etc. When you could calmly draw art without fear that some scum would take it and replace you with themselves and get a lot of followers, unlike you. I miss the days when I would just watch Transformers on DVD (I use YouTube for that now) and never know that 14 years from now someone would be stealing someone's art and irl looks... I never suspected that those who steal other artists' art would gain 1,000 followers or more. I lived and didn’t suspect that strange fandom trends and fandom wars would appear in the world. I lived and didn’t think that a social network could appear, because of which everyone would start looking at Transformers as glamorous characters from the edits of this social network. I lived and didn’t think that sometime in the future some parts of the franchise would be hated by someone, that there would be no fights between Autobots and Decepticons, but some rescuers save the town and teach cadets. Or, for example, the wrong voice actor, the wrong graphics, the wrong design, the wrong plot, the wrong atmosphere. Okay, we're all going to miss Peter Cullen (which is why I hate August 2026). But why not give other voice actors a chance? Or, for example, dubbing with Andrey Yaroslavtsev (Russian voice of Optimus Prime), Ayhan Kahya (his Turkish voice), etc. Life is not infinite. (Yes, by the way, I am against using their voices in AI and I think it is blasphemy and an insult to the memory of these actors). For example, Beast Wars, Rise of the Beasts... In the first case, as in Beast Machines, people don't like the graphics, in the second case people don't like the music. Although, I think the film perfectly conveyed the atmosphere of 1994. It’s just that some of the film’s haters don’t have living evidence of that year. Or, for example, the hate towards the Unicron trilogy (Armada, Energon, Cybertron) because of their anime style. Or the hate towards what came out after Transformers Prime. For example, Robots in Disguise 2015, Transformers Rescue Bots / Rescue Bots Academy, EarthSpark, etc. Try to create something from 0 materials, only from air, I'll look at you.

I'm tired of this fandom drama. I'm tired of everything. But I still love Transformers, and I don't care what anyone thinks.
