[ESC]Too much sun lately
In the off grid PC saga, there's a lot of sun lately. My battery is full and I need to add some more load to utilize the excess power. I was testing several USB power delivery modules from Aliexpress that I thoughtfully bought before, this one is pretty nice: dual USB A/C ports, alleged 140W power. Tested it with a laptop and a phone, it was delivering 60W and only heated up to almost 50C without any cooling.
It has pads for a fan connection, I'll try that with some spare generic case I have laying around. Will need to run it through my breaker box once it's assembled. I also have some other USB and step-down modules that I can use for laptop/NAS/NUC/router power supply. Lots of things to try, not enough time for everything :v
