I have recently started running as a means to get rid of excess energy and keep myself fit. My first finish line is 5km away and the goal is to arrive there in 30 minutes.

What do you guys use as a youtube frontend?

I have been searching for a local or self-hosted open-source youtube fronted/software for the longest time. My current setup is NewPipe on my phone, FreeTube on my laptop and Tubearchivist on my homeserver. I use Tubearchivist to track videos from my subscriptions and download them to watch later locally. The other 2 apps I use for watching videos from channels I'm not subscribed to.

For the past few months I have been enjoying listening to emo/midwest emo songs. Being able to feel the emotions of the singer so deeply is a surreal experience that I hunger for.
