After spending what felt like FOREVER in the Veilstone game corner hitting the slots until I had enough coins to supe up my team with some TMs, my progress really took a turn.

I jumped from 63 to 75 in the span of about 2 days, with today in particular ending with me completing 3 evolution lines (Gligar, Geodude, and Wingull)!!

oh yeah!! and my team is nearly complete by this point! all I need now is a water type aside from Bibarel and I’m golden!!...

to wrap up our session last night, @mothermayi and i both took on and captured Rotom. this marks my 45th Pokémon and her 30th!!!

i caught it a liiiitle bit earlier than her buuutttt that’s neither here nor there (￣ω￣)

@mothermayi and I are both taking on the daunting task of completing a LivingDex in Pokémon Platinum and hooooo boy. it’s gonna be a long one.

in case you don’t know, a LivingDex is when you catch every single Pokémon in your game of voice and store them all in in order in your PC. this includes every evolution stage, legendary, and mythical. thankfully, due to a thematically appropriate glitch, we’ll be able to access what we’re originally event-only Pokémon! (I plan on shiny hunting a couple of them but...

after a ton of digging, @mothermayi and i now both have our miniDV camcorders charging and soon they’ll be ready for us to take to the park!

i hardly get to have Saturday off with her, AND we get to spend it playing around with cameras!!!

does anyone here shiny hunt pokemon? i’m 400ish eggs deep in a masuda method pidgey hunt in HeartGold and the little critter STILL refuses to shine for me
