I have emerged once more

So I kind of binged on doomscrolling way too much for way too long, culminating in getting sucked into my feed until like 10 or 11 am today. I finally put the damn phone down and caught a few zzz's with some bizarro but not-unpleasant dreams.

I'm ready to do other stuff. I've been meaning to write for quite some time. I have numerous writing assignments / projects. Everything from thank you notes to apologies to memoirs to my other book project. And maybe finally my zine.

My phone is in a bag near me, but the zippers are closed and I haven't touched it in at least half an hour. I have acquired some sustenance (old reliable cheese & crackers - good lazy food) including some cheapo store-brand orange drink with ice. I guess I'm ready to tackle another task. Hrm. Now I have to decide which thing. To start with, I put some music on. That's a start, at least.
