BUY A FIGHTSICK!!

buying a fightstick (Qanba Titan) off a tweaker in west v 2 years ago was the best decision i made in a long time. i was a HALO MLG kid insted of FGC (melee doesnt count) so tapping into shit like SF3, TEKKEN5, MVC2, SOUL CALIBUR, now is wild, its like learning a ancient art. each series got its own language, execution and lore. all which isnt readily explained or even obvious sometimes. its a brutal experience getting stomped over and over again by input reading CPUs that read your next move before i can even fire the synapse to press the button.. but theres something about the fightstick that when you do finally get a win feels like a true acomplishment, that i dont feel anymore from the typical XBOX/PS4 controller options. picking up the stick to get rounds in or just some training time, feels more like getting up and going to the gym than sitting down to casually kill some time gaming. ill go weeks after rage quiting a arcade run without playing a single fighting game but the stick calls me in a way i maybe havent felt since a 13yr old with a fresh World Industries skateboard. and i havent even played melty blood yet..

so if you think gaming sucks right now (it does) get a fightstick, go down the lever rabbithole, consume hours of jwong content, and hit the gym bro, sometimes jiggle physics and the clack of a OBSF is all you need....
