About sizes and years

Let's assume that everyone walks at a speed of 5 km/h and lives for around 80 years.

Now, if an average citizen wanted to repeat the journey of Moses (around 400 km), he would return after 3.33 days, assuming he walked continuously without resting.

After this walk, he decides to rest for some time, buy a plane ticket, fly back home and go to sleep. But there is a problem: when he wakes up, he finds that he is no longer in his apartment but surrounded by a pile of concrete.

He lived in a large-panel apartment building, the type of building that was constructed extensively in Poland between 1971 and 1980. He looks around, starts laughing and says: "I must have slept for over 50 years!".

Waking up in 2060–2080 (or even later) isn't something that happens every day, but he isn't sad because, while he was sleeping, humanity built a bridge between Earth and Mars. Our citizen decides to go and see it. This is another big journey, covering around 225 million km — a journey that would take approximately 5,137 years at a constant walking speed of 5 km/h, without stopping.

And now something more posible; if he took all of Elon Musk's money (1 trillion dollars) and placed every single dollar in a straight line, with each dollar being 15.6 cm long, he could create a line measuring around 15,600,000,000,000 cm. That means 156,000,000 km.

Walking across this line from start to end at a constant speed of 5 km/h, without stopping, would take 31,200,000 hours, which means 1,300,000 days and approximately 3,559 years.

This distance would take him around 44.5 human lifetimes, assuming each lifetime lasts 80 years.
