Hi there. I guess this is my introduction.

I'm an owl with an appetite for learning (or rather, obsessing over)about specific interests, which grab my attention sometimes for months, grabbing even my dreams until i get enough of them. Others, come to hook me again and again, never truly leaving my psyche. I think those are more of what i could i say are me: books, coffee, videogames, computers, drawings, art.

I'm very into Hollow Knight, it's glorious sequel, and FromSoft's Dark Souls and Elden Ring. I like reading Verne, Bazterrica, Cortázar and thinking of reading something by Le Guin.

I sometimes draw creatures and write about their world surrounding a giant tree that serves as the anchor for the only place still breathing, a story which i hope one day i can turn into a game.

I'm writing currently from an A485 ThinkPad, running Fedora workstation, using Niri (my beloved) and DMS. I made the switch around 6 months ago and have been enjoying it so far: i got this machine specifically to learn Java and Linux alongside it. I have been learning to love FOSS software alternatives, such as designing on Inkscape.

As another side obsession, i'm trying to learn how to touch type properly and get a better wpm score. Now my score has tanked but i'm slowly getting the hang of it. Learning to type has been really fun and i'm actually using said skill to replace the mouse for my workflow with the help of the Vimium C plugin.

There's a lof more stuff i'd like to share, time will make such occassions. This place is really cool and doesn't feel as massive as other social media, which i appreciate.
