Staying objective and letting go are such important tools for artists.
In a professional setting sometimes superiors or clients make changes or criticism to your art and in the beginning it can be pretty discouraging or heartbreaking when it’s done. (Especially if your artwork can objectively become worse)
It sounds strange but sometimes it’s good practise to just throw out or delete your art when you’re done with it. Especially with studies. Sometimes you just have to ignore it.
Understanding what you’ve learned from doing something, knowing you can pull off something better in the future and being able to move on from something are skills that everyone needs, even outside of creativity.
