[ESC]So, I have a tendency to gravitate towards things that are shiny, cool, neat, etc. It's how I got a chance to test and use a LeapMotion before they shifted directions. Why I have countless accounts and gadgets from all over the place. And why I've been a long time user of Virtual Worlds.
Virtual worlds? Like games you mean?
No, not exactly. This was something that came about around a little before World of Warcraft. And there wasn't (nor is there still any) real goal or structured "Game Play"
Defining it has always been somewhat of a challenge, but I think the best way to describe it, in my own words, is a Social Development Platform.
So, I initially created an account back in 2007 and didn't get into it in any major way because things were basic, and simple and clunky. But I came back around 2010/11 and have been a regular user ever since. And while I know the rule of second life is.....
Yes, That's what it's called, you've probably only heard the bad stuff in the news more recently. That's an entirely different subject, and I don't know enough to speak on it. But I digress....
I've been on, played games, chatted with, hung out, created things, earned a living (yes, paid my bills) all on Second Life. And I'm just posting about it now, just to see who here has more than just heard about it. I'd like to connect with people, share ideas, collaborate, and generally just talk about all the happenings and activities you can find in Second Life.
