Cold shower

There is nothing more comfortable than cold days, where life won't judge you if you allow yourself to procrastinate a little longer, where playing video games in a dark room, wrapped in a blanket becomes an almost transcendental experience.

It is precisely on these days that an unspeakable terror hides, where no narrated horror story can convey the same feeling of anguish and pain, just imagining such a situation makes your body panic, the mind enters a state of flight, yet the monster must be faced. Unlike a conventional combat where the hero puts on his war armor, in this combat ritual the opposite must be done; upon undressing, the feeling is one of vulnerability and weakness. It is then that the ghost of the cold comes and begins to scratch your bones, telling you all the time to give up, it makes you look at your clothes on the floor and manupulates your mind to put them back on your body immediately and get out of that cave as fast as possible. Fortunately, the specter is no strong enough to break your spirit, and you move forward; upon entering the enemy's territory, time begins to function in a different and stranger wy, minutes feel like seconds, time passes faster and your body doesn't keep up, anxiety starts to rise and your body no longer obeys your will, even awake you enter a trance state where a simple act like turning a doorknob seems like rocket science, your organs start to tremble, as if the cold had alredy pierced through the skin layer and reached them. The creature's magic is strong, but it doesn't last long, at this moment a decision must be made, otherwise, the magic takes effect once again until it breaks your willpower; then a decision is made... your turn on the shower.

Immediateky you receive a blow to the head and neck, the pain is so staggering that you black ou for a few miliseconds, like a power outage, and quickly snap back to yourself. In that instant you feel your souls desperately trying to escape through your back. it's as if every single droplet if water were buming your skin without warming it, instinctively you step out of that freezing hell, yet the cold outside the warter becines nire terrufying, tearing at every milimeter of your skin without breaking it, making you think that staying under the water is the better idea.

In this combat, the only weapons abailable are resilience and time. At the end of the shower, even with your body shriveled and every bone in your skeleton trembling, the feeling of a mission accomplished is unique, you feel so courageous to the point of thinking you can take on any challenge, bringing me the sensation of invicncibility.
