I hate (marvel movies) Ironman

I was talking to a friend and when the conversation moved on to marvel heroes he kept saying that his favorite superhero was Ironman, I just can't see the point though. If Ironman were a real person I'd absolutely hate him. He's everything wrong with the billionaires of today and much more. He made his money selling weapons to terrorists, he consistently cheats on his lovers, he believes he's above the law, he suffers from the classic "he's the smartest human ever! but not enough to be actually useful to the story", he's the classic "erm aktualy" smartypants teammate, he feels entitled to hold grudges against others but others just move over his dick moves, I hate Robert Downey Junior(more of a me thing) and worst of all he's as flat as pancake(character wise). I see him as nothing more than a wet dream for billionaires and a worse, more annoying and somehow dumber batman.

I really can't see how someone could ever like such a character. Maybe the comic version is a better character but the movie one is terrible.
