my downstairs neighbor is

1. a prick
2. the president of the hoa because apparently no one wants to do it so he just wins by default
3. has a giant “don’t tread on me” flag meanwhile calls the cops on people and has had my motorcycle towed two (2) times [also he is my downstairs neighbor, i am above him, all i do is tread on him]
4. he is soooooo loud. watches tv genuinely 24 hours a day (retired, loves fox news etc), has loud ass dogs and a loud ass voice
5. he reeks dude. smokes cigarettes in his condo and pretty sure his dogs shit in there and it all just absorbs into my condo and it’s awful like my clothes smell like this man

he was out of town for almost a week and i got used to it and was sooooo happy and i’m working from home right now so i like really felt the difference and he just got back and literally within minutes the tv is blasting and he’s yelling at the dogs and i swear i could

immediately smell the smell. had to shut my windows and it’s sooo nice out right now :(

i’m also a renter in a place with mostly privately owned condos so i’m like already a second class citizen and he’s the hoa president so i’m honestly kind of afraid of him. feel like im just having this jarring realization of how bad it actually is and want to get out of here. my condo is otherwise pretty fucking nice though and super affordable for the area and my landlord is chill. i gotta leave this city anyway though. maybe its for the best that it’s uncomfortable.
