[ESC]The Illusion of Correctness
"Correctness" - The quality or state of being free from errors, accurate, or in agreement with true facts and accepted standards.
Every opinion that each one of us carry, remains because we believe it is true. Rarely does one have an opinion they believe is false. The closest they may get is an opinion that has appeared out of the void and simply 'feels' correct.
When a peer shares a different viewpoint, we often feel the need to express our understanding of our own 'correctness'. But why?
What is the objective guide for our subjective reality to be considered 'true'?
I would propose that the truth we each believe is subject to change and correct solely based on our 'current' understanding of the situation at hand.
May we, dear fellow traversers of this confusing existence know that what we know is subject to change, develop, and disappear. As we all search for an objective truth in this intimidating reality.
