Nonsense to Corruption

"Nonsense": Words, actions, or ideas that have no meaning, make no sense, or are very silly.

"Corruption": The abuse of entrusted power for private or personal gain.

"The addition of nonsense into the intellect may reinforce corruption in the will." - C.S. Lewis (The Screwtape Letters)

The world that we wake up and see daily can be defined simply and shrewdly as "Nonsensical", bombarding our minds with varying (and often contradicting) opinions, fears, hopes, desires, and often anything else to illicit an emotional response.

When one allows this inundation to become the recurring narrative in the unconscious, often times what follows can only be described in the conscious as corruption in the will. Seeking personal gain for sake of spreading the nonsensical ideals that we see.

May we, dear fellow traversers of this confusing existence learn to discern between the rational and irrational, logical and illogical, sensical and non-sensical. And still, keep the emotional drive that fuels our humanity.
